第一遍读完这本书，内心很是畅快淋漓，此书不仅对于分析企业的当前战略有值得借鉴的模型（P－VAR），更重要的是，从我们很多人不以为然的“模仿”（我们往往把模仿与盗版、剽窃相联系，而赋予了额外的感情贬义）出发，一步一步构建了跳出“山寨”的阴影，而走向创新的道路。
对于追求转型的企业而言，这是一本不可多得的、可以直接借鉴于应用的指导手册之一，不愧为“来自日本企业研究专家的最有效、最实用的经营提升法”。
在读书的过程中，我就想，如果我要开办一所有特色的、高品质的幼儿园，我会选择哪些模仿的样本？（比如日本东京幼儿园、德国森林幼儿园，已经中国可以视为反面教材的幼儿园等）而且我会想，我要塑造怎样的不可被轻易超越和模仿的特征（结合第8章，比如发自内心的爱护和教育，着眼于长远目的的熏陶等等）。
带着问题去读这本书，会收获很多的灵感；我就因此而想到一个从未有过的创业方向。
我们每个人都有好高骛远的心，所以常常强调结果的创新，而不愿意接受创新来自模仿的起点。
作者带我们回归本源，脚踏实地的创新来自模仿，独创性的创新来自模仿，模仿是理性的行为，是创造之母。
在第5章中，作者举例为我们分析了四类模仿对象的注意点，而在第6章中，总结了描绘企业蓝图的方法——“守破离”，并且按照讲描绘蓝图、明确矛盾、消除模仿的思路分为五个清晰的步骤。
在第8章中，又结合多个例子，重点分析了逆向思维的模仿方法。
在第9章中，作者从行业、对象和自己三个层次，重点阐述了为了革新的模仿的思路，非常值得借鉴。
